Idol season 12 kicked off this week- with low ratings…
Season 12 of American Idol premiered this week! The fued between Nicki and Mariah is simmering, but the ratings? Not so much- the premiere was the lowest rated and least watched EVER! Read more here. Do you think it will get better as the season gets going?

It has been such a great year and I’m so excited because we have a ton great things on the horizon for 2013! My favorite things about 2012 were The Dirty Girl Mud Run, filling in for Roula and meeting so many great people around Houston! That’s how I know Marcus- and I was blown away by the year he had! The Oak Ridge High School Band was one of ELEVEN chosen to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. I’ve never been, but I hear the city is magical. Below are some of the sights they all got to see while in NYC! I feel a New Years resolution brewing for 2013- I need to go to New York!

Baby number two for Jessica Simpson!
Jessica Simpson confirmed on Christmas Day that she’s having another baby! She wont stay on her diet during the pregnancy, but now that she knows the weight doesn’t all come off when you have the baby, maybe she’ll make healthy choices! This is so exciting!!! Read more here!
